My name is Emily and I am an NYC-based fine artist, graphic designer and animator. I received my BFA in Communications Design with a concentration in Illustration from Pratt Institute in 2015, and have since honed my skills through a variety of professional projects and collaborations. My commercial skills include branding and logo design, motion graphics, illustration, art direction, packaging design, photo retouching, social & digital content and more.

In my art practice, I am a painter, using primarily acrylic paint on either canvas or wood. I also occasionally work digitally. Comics and sequential art are major reference points in my work, as I use their visual storytelling language to create multi-framed paintings that showcase fragments of different stories, dreams and memories simultaneously.
